Visakhapatnam: Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam, a premier establishment of Eastern Naval Command for repair and maintenance of warships, submarines and auxiliary vessels on Thursday commissioned a state of the art scrap metal processing facility. The initiative streamlines the segregation and processing of metal scrap and thereby reduces the carbon footprint, generated during major repair and maintenance work of ships and submarines in the yard.
